credentials required:Bachelor's degree in Health Science, EMS or other health-related science required. Masters degree preferred. NREMT-P &Ga. Licensed Paramedic or ability to acquire within 6 months. Ga. Level 3 Instructor or NAEMSE Instructor Course required. AHA BLS /ACLS, PHTLS or ITLS, PALS, PEPP or EPC at the instructor level preferred. Critical Care Paramedic or must acquire within 6 months of employment. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. MS Office proficiency required. Valid Ga. Driver's License required and maintains an acceptable MVR according to departmental standards once employed.

Essential job duties:Development and implementation of the Paramedic, EMT, Critical Care Transport and hospital-based clinical programs. Maintains continuous quality review and improvement of programs. Creates lesson plans and develops needed courses, in-servcies, or training modules. Provides educational leadership and works effectively with the program medical director, faculty, administration, related agencies and community groups. Integrates training with all aspects of EMS department; to include, Operations, Logistics, Communications and Vehicle Maintenance.

Reports to Vice President , EMS.Supervises: Chief Training Officer, Field Training Officers,Quality Improvement Officer, Paramedics, EMTs and NET Drivers.
